My love for live music is about 25% the reason why I go into radio…the vibe, music, screaming fans…it’s just the best. Seeing your favorite bands is just the best….COVID-19 has put a stop to SO MANY amazing concert experiences. Hell, it was weeks ago that I was flabbergasted by the amount of bands heading out on tour, it was seemingly EVERYBODY!
Then….Coronavirus happened.
But when will this end? When can get back to rocking out? According to a New York Times Magazine article, they asked five health experts about when we could get back to rocking out with our favorite bands in concert! Which one of those experts predicted that concerts will not return before Fall 2021 at the earliest. Read the FULL ARTICLE HERE!
He went on to state that larger gatherings like conventions, concerts, and sporting events will be the LAST to return, simply cause there is no way to properly social distance in that type of setting. He’s not wrong, but remember…this is just ONE guys opinion, however…a well informed one, the guys an expert.
I know nothing about health, I don’t know how virus’ work, so who knows…this thing could go away tomorrow or go away a year from now! But what’s important it to continue to stay healthy, wash your hands, and keep social distancing from people, and don’t forget to wear a mask too!
The sooner people take responsibility? The sooner we can hopefully get back to seeing our favorite bands live!
