EVERYONE here at the station received their IRS stimulus check, but…I didn’t.
So I started to wonder why…I mean, I filed my 2019 taxes WELL in advance, so what gives? Then I found out that I have never received a refund from the federal government, I usually pay in, therefore they did not have my bank account information, hence no check.
Having the same problem? Here’s what you do.
- The IRS has setup a ‘Get My Payment’ Tool, CLICK HERE to go to it
- You will need the following
- Social Security #
- Date of Birth
- Current Address
- It will then tell you they are missing information, which you will then need
- Your Gross Income of 2019 if filed (if not, your gross income of 2018)
- Bank Account Routing Number & Account Number you’d like it deposited
Then that’s it, let the wait begin!
Use this only if you haven’t received it yet, there is a chance that when you login you won’t have to do any of this and maybe you’re among the 2nd wave of people to receive.
