A cop in New York was chasing a suspect on foot Saturday night, and dropped the keys to his patrol car.
A 28-year-old woman named Kassie Moses picked them up, and thought it would be fun to take his patrol car for a joyride. So she stole it.
But she didn’t get far, because she somehow managed to get caught in TRAFFIC. Yes, apparently it still exists.
She sideswiped another cop car before turning onto a bridge where there was a minor traffic jam. So police were able to catch up with her.
It’s not clear if she tried to use the siren and lights or not.
She’s facing charges for grand theft auto, criminal possession of stolen property, and reckless endangerment.
