Florida deputies arrested a man who had been living out his quarantine on Disney World’s Discovery Island. He told authorities it felt like a “tropical paradise.”
He said he’d been there since Monday or Tuesday and had planned to camp there for a week, even though he passed numerous “no trespassing” signs.
A security representative for Disney said she even saw the man using a company boat.
She asked the police to press charges, so the camper was arrested on a trespassing charge and taken to jail.
Discovery Island was closed to the public in 1999.
