One of the most legendary MTV Unplugged episodes was Nirvana’s performance.
Hell, even the full album of the performance is one of the more interesting pieces of music history out there, and even sometimes, show up on Rock 108 too. Unplugged meaning acoustic performance, Kurt and his band ripped through a vast array of deep Nirvana cuts on that acoustic guitar of Kurts.
So do you want to OWN that guitar? You could….but you just need a couple million.
Up for auction if Kurt Cobain’s acoustic guitar the he played on MTV Unplugged back in 1993, which was customized for him in Los Angeles, and will be sold on Julian’s Auctions around the middle of June. The guitar is believed to have a starting bidding at $1 Million smackers right out the gate!
I feel like this is something that SHOULD be in a music museum…but when that kinda dough is being tossed around, money talks I guess.
