This pleases me.
One of the biggest bummers of the pandemic was the fact that the movie theater was to be closed until further notice. I understand why of course, but I am happy to see that Marcus Theaters will be re-opening their theaters!
Of course, the theater chain will be re-opening just SOME of their locations, but for us in Eastern Iowa? They will be reopening these locations with the following dates.
- Cedar Rapids Cinema-August 28th
- College Square Cinema-TBD
- Coral Ridge Cinema-August 21st
- Crossroads Cinema-August 21st
- Sycamore Cinema-TBD
Each theater will be instilling social distancing protocol. Each theater will have limited seating and two seats between each group to keep social distancing. They have QUITE the procedure actually, and you can check it out here.
Very awesome, and looks like they are going above and beyond to keep you safe…but remember, you gotta do your part too!
