So, on Monday, the news was… YES, 25,000 fans would be allowed into the first Iowa State home football game on September 12th.  NOW, that order has been reversed.  NO fans will now be allowed at the game due to high COVID-19 cases.  Officials say that this is temporary, and most likely won’t be like this for future games.

The game against Louisiana will kick-off at 11 a.m. on Sept. 12, and will be on ESPN.

Iowa State University announced on Wednesday that it would no longer allow fans at its first home game on September 12, a reversal of a decision that would have let up to 25,000 in the stands.
