I mean, makes sense.
The Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York will be going fully virtual this year…but what does this mean?
This means that no crowds will be welcome to the streets of New York, No High School or College Marching Band, no people holding the wires for the balloons. Also the number of participants will be reduces by 75% and those participants will be split over two days. Anyone under the age of 18 will also not be allowed to participate.
Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the 94th version of the iconic annual parade will be a television-only special presentation this year, the retailer and the city of New York announced Monday.

Not gonna lie? That sucks….like really sucks, but understandable. The ‘Virtual Event’ will take place on Thanksgiving Thursday starting at 9AM.
I get it though, THOUSANDS of people show up the Macy’s Parade and it’s all for health but man…it’s gonna be gutted this year that’s for sure. My wife and I watch every single year.
