Ever been to Gordmans? Well your time is running out to visit an old skool chain store as the classic Gordmans is closing it’s doors this Sunday in Cedar Rapids and Coralville.
Both locations opened up in the mid-2000s and have served the corridor ever since!
I’ve only been to a Gordmans once, specifically the one in the Crossroads Mall in Waterloo…and you could basically see the writing on the walls that Gordmans was kind of on it’s last legs. Things like purses, toys, clothing, just kinda tossed here and there without any real organization. I even saw a small area where there were cat trees and it made me think…’Ok, what does this store specialize in?’ I kinda regret not getting the cat tree though, it was $100 and huge…I’m sure my cats would have liked it.
Get to Gordmans before they’re gone!
