Eddie Van Halen Dead at 65

Probably one of the biggest losses in rock history, the guitar master himself Eddie Van Halen has passed away at the age of 65.

According to a TMZ report,

Sources directly connected to the rock star tell he died at St. Johns Hospital in Santa Monica Tuesday. His wife, Janie was by his side, along with his son Wolfgang and Alex, Eddie’s brother and drummer. We’re told in the last 72 hours Eddie’s ongoing health battle went massively downhill — doctors discovered his throat cancer had moved to his brain as well as other organs.

I’m sure more will come to light soon, but I think we can all agree that 2020 can go burn in hell.

RIP to one of the greatest guitarist and rock pioneers of all time.
