By far one of THE BEST films ever made is “Silence of the Lambs”! I dare you to argue with me about it!! Obviously, I am a HUGE fan of this film, so it’s no wonder that I’m excited and bummed at the same time that the home of serial killer Buffalo Bill is up for sale. (I’m bummed because I can’t buy it!)
This is the home where the end scene in the basement goes down, and also where the girl was kept in the well with the dog. “It rubs the lotion on the skin or else it gets the hose again.”
(Scroll down to see more about the house for sale.)
The house for sale is in Perryopolis, Pennsylvania, which is about an hour south of Pittsburgh . . . and it’s on the market for $298,500.
The home was built in 1910. It was previously sold in 2016 to a “Silence of the Lambs” fan for $195,000. The owners before that had lived there for almost 40 years, and were the residents when the movie was shot.
(Here’s the listing. And here’s a video of the home from before the 2016 sale.)
The house is actually very nice! I wish I could buy it.
