Tattoos are cool, and when I get older…well hopefully they’ll still look cool.
But do you know what is cool? Senior citizens getting tattoos, drinking a brew, and having a good time! The pandemic as you know has affected nursing homes all around the country…keeping people from seeing their families and are pretty much stuck in their nursing homes, so how do you keep spirits up?
Rose Haven Nursing Home in Morengo, IA tried something new with an event named ‘Booze N’ Tattoos!’
To which the nursing staff at the home applies temporary tattoos to the residents! Not only were there tattoos, but there was also both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks handed to the residents to have a good time.

So awesome! As a tattoo aficionado this brings warmth to my heart to see so many smiling faces having a fun time and kicking back with a beer too!
I hope that when I do reach the senior citizen age, I’m still kickin’ back…rockin and drinking beers like these folks!
