It’s that time of year again!
For the 4th year, I will be livestreaming video games for the Stead Family Children’s Hospital in Iowa City!
It all goes down THIS SATURDAY at 9AM on my official Donation Page…which you can watch the stream, AND donate by CLICKING HERE.
In the past 3 years, we have raised over $4500 for local area hospitals in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City….and this year? I think is going to be our biggest yet.
As you know, COVID-19 has wrecked whatever 2020 we were set to have….concerts cancelled, Halloween reduced, kids basically not allowed to be…well…kids! Us as adults understand the pandemic…but kids? They wonder WHY they have to wear a mask, wonder WHY they can’t go to their friends house, and wonder why kids can’t be just kids. It’s heartbreaking….
Now….put those same kids…in a hospital….where they are not allowed to see family, friends, and basically can NEVER leave the hospital because of the heightened risk. Just…..I can’t even bear the thought.
That my friends, is why 24 Hour Livestream this year is the most important…cause even if we can have ONE kid smile for a day, even just for a minute…that is way better than another day in what they may have to deal with. The wonderful staff at the Stead Family Children’s Hospital works EVERY SINGLE DAY to make these kids comfortable and give them the hope that they need….the least we can do? It raise some funds for them.
THIS Saturday, starting at 9AM CST….we play games…for them.
