The next gen of Xbox has arrived.
But the better question is, were you able to get one? Chances are probably not, unless you preordered one….and the chances of getting one now are gonna be pretty slim until probably sometime early next year.
So if your kids are asking for one this Holiday season, or maybe you want the next gen upgrade…stay patient. I have worked in video game retail for plenty of years and saw the launch of the Xbox 360/PS3 and of course the dreaded Wii…and that was a nightmare. Billions of phone calls that simply asked ‘You have Wii?’
My biggest advice though? Be patient.
I understand you could go buy one on eBay right now for around $1000, but seriously? It’s just a game console…there is really no reason to go broke over it or mortgage your house. Besides, launch day consoles never have the games for it, so just stick with your Xbox One until it becomes decently available.
Just my suggestion….but it’s your life, do what you want.
