Yaaaaar they comin’ for ye’ booty!
Many of us have either been forced to purchase mostly online, and it’s nearly the norm at this point with many things. However, with the Pandemic? Nearly everywhere is offering some kind of online purchasing where they leave the package on your front door, and you’re not gonna be home for a bit.
Enter….the Porch Pirate….looky loo’s driving through your neighborhood seeking out packages on front doorsteps looking to steal your s&^&.
KCRG-TV 9 did a report on the matter, and reported on a survey stating that more than $5 Billion bucks of stuff was stolen from front porches…think about that….5….BILLION…..DOLLARS!
That….is a TON of dough. I have yet to have this happen to me, but with all the baby stuff that people have been buying for us, I get a little weary about it.
With the holiday season REALLY starting to rev up, more people staying home and ordering stuff online, you can bet your butt that the amount of stolen stuff is gonna skyrocket.
