Losing Eddie Van Halen was a massive loss to the music world…Eddie reinvented the guitar and rock music as we know it today. He also had an amazing relationship with his son Wolf, who was also in the band ‘Van Halen’ up until it’s possible last moments. However, that’s not what this video is all about.
This video is about a son loving and respecting his father…and sharing his love for him. Under the name ‘Mammoth WVH,’ Wolf has released a song named ‘Distance’ in tribute to his father Eddie. The video features family videos of Wolf growing up with dad, sharing precious moments, and even leading up to when Wolf performed in the band….but the real heart string puller? The voice mail message that Eddie left Wolf at the end of the video.
