Head back to the movies in Marion!

One of the biggest downfalls for me during this pandemic is not being able to see big movies in the movie theater. Many theaters have re-opened with social distancing guidelines, but locally owned Collins Road Theatre in Marion is set to re-open after basically being destroyed by the August Derecho!

People have been skeptical about returning to the movie theatre because of the pandemic, but Collins Road Theatre is really going above and beyond to ensure your safety, and be comfortable too! The theatre has removed all the old traditional seating in the auditoriums and have replaced them with brand new reclining seats, which if you haven’t been to a theatre in awhile and tried out these seats? You should.

They have also entirely replaced the air system, which according to their post: The new units bring in a certain amount of outside air (that’s the triangle-shaped thing on the side, called an economizer) and are equipped with MERV 13 filters (they’re on the inside, so you’ll have to take my word for it!). They meet or exceed the recommendations from the CDC, EPA, OSHA and ASHRAE for Covid compliance! These, coupled with other sanitation precautions, will help keep you and our staff safe!

Damn, that’s awesome…check out their full post below.

With all these new renovations, they will NOT be increasing prices either

If you’re wondering where to see Wonder Woman 1984? Collin’s Road Theatre may be the place to do it. Plus Collins Road Theatre is a LOCALLY OWNED THEATRE and this was a hell of an investment from them….go give them the support!
