After a month of having to close up at 10:00 pm, good news came yesterday for Iowa bars and restaurants. They can go back to their normal hours again.
This will hopefully last long enough to make it through New Year’s Eve, so these businesses can make money. Of course, wearing a mask, social distancing and no groups larger than 8 are still part of it all.
Even though I don’t drink anymore, and I rarely stay out past 10:00 pm, I’m happy for those who are able to go out and let loose. Being cooped up at home gets old quick, especially around the holidays.
