Have I ever told you how much I love this game?
Resident Evil 2 was released this day all the way back in 1998, and to this day…it is still one of my favorite video games of all time! There have been many Resident Evil games since then, but 2 has always held a massive place in my gamer heart….so much so that I have the zombie from the cover art tattoo’d on me.
There was always just something about the characters and the setting of this game. While the first one is great, the second one just knocked it out the park. Running through the police station, running from Mr. X, the corruption of Brian Irons, and the fact that there is basically 4 different ways to play the game between two disc….it’s just such a big adventure and a ton of fun.
Us as gamers were given the golden gift of when the game got remade for PS4 and Xbox One…the moment I saw that first teaser trailer for the remake, I nearly lost my sh$#…it was something I have always wanted as a gamer, but RARELY ever get. The remake of Resident Evil 2 may be just as fun as the original, and is a MUST PLAY on my gaming radar.
While we are approaching the 8th numbered title in the series, 2 is actually one of my Top 5 Video Games of all time….that’s how much I love it.
