Time to put this pandemic to rest.

Iowans have been waiting for when their number comes up to come in and get the COVID-19 vaccine. As of right now, it’s for anyone 16+ that has previous or current medical conditions. However, as of April 5th…

All Iowans will be eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine as announced by Gov. Kim Reynolds by April 5th.

According to KCRG: Reynolds said the federal vaccine allocations are expected to increase significantly by the week of March 29 to 20 million dose nationwide, which could include 4-6 million doses of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. She did not explain how many would be allocated to Iowa.

Whether you will be getting the vaccine or not, that’s up to you…but it’s good to see this moving more swiftly.
