A 34-year-old chick named Shonteria Story went into a car dealership in Winter Haven, Florida on Monday night and asked to test drive a 2021 Chevy Equinox.
The dealership has a policy during Covid where people take test drives solo, without an employee in the car, so Shonteria took the car . . . and about two hours later, it was clear she wasn’t coming back.
But she didn’t realize that the car had OnStar, which made it hella easy for the cops to track it down.
They found her and the stolen car, and she was arrested for grand theft.
Next time, go for a 1995 Dodge Neon, dumbass. Or better yet, a 1995 Chevrolet Beretta. They were all the rage back then, complete WITHOUT OnStar, girl. Duh.
