A day of glory.
Who doesn’t love a good grilled cheese sandwich? Buttery bread, melty cheddar cheese, all grilled on a skillet. It’s just the best right?
Yea, it is just a dumb sandwich, but when I think about Grilled Cheese, it zaps me back to Fridays when I was in college at Eastern Michigan University. Every single Friday at DC1 (Dining Commons 1), they would serve GRILLED DAMN CHEESE, tomato soup and ughhhh, it was what a looked forward to every single Friday.
I would alter my class schedule when class sign ups came up JUST so I could make it to grilled cheese day. I even told my girlfriend (who ultimately became my wife) to come earlier in the day so I wouldn’t miss grilled cheese day, meaning she left work early and had to alter her schedule just so I could eat bread and cheese.
Don’t get between a Ned and his grilled cheese.
