The moment I have been waiting for years for!
Back in the 2000’s, there were 3 shows that defined the Adult Swim lineup…those being Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Venture Bros, and easily my favorite of the trio…Metalocalypse.
Adult Swim announce today that these 3 shows will be getting their VERY OWN feature length films! Each one will take place directly after whatever the original run of the show ended with, and basically serve as a swan song to each one of the series.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force already did have a full movie named ‘Colon Movie Film for Theaters’ which I saw IN THEATERS and cracked up the whole time. It’s so dumb that I can’t help but love it.
Each film will will be released on physical format, then show up on HBO Max and Adult Swim 90 days after release.
I’m happy to see that Metalocalypse will finally no longer be in Hamburger time.
