Movie Night at Lost Island Waterpark is happening THIS SATURDAY, June 5! Park you car and get ready to enjoy back-to-back movies on a beautiful night!
Who can come to the event?
Anyone with a reservation is welcome to attend! Reservations are required as well as a donation to the Cedar Bend Humane Society.
What time does the movie start?
The movie can’t start until it is dark. We are aiming for 9 p.m. on the first movie and 11 p.m. on the second movie.
How early should I arrive?
We will open the gates to guests at 8 p.m.
Do we have assigned parking?
Parking spots will be on a first come, first serve basis. The earlier you get there, the better your parking spot will be!
Do I have to sit in my car?
No! You will be able to park your car and watch the movie or get out and sit in front of your car. We will also have room in the front for people to sit.
What do I need to bring?
You might want to bring lawn chairs if you want to sit outside. You will need your donation to the Cedar Bend Humane Society. You can also bring a FM radio if you don’t want to use the one in your car!
Will there be snacks available?
Here’s What’s Poppin will be on site selling things like popcorn and cotton candy.
How do I hear the movie?
The movie sound will be available on a FM radio frequency. You can hear it using your car radio or bringing a portable radio. If you use your car radio, be careful you don’t drain your cars battery.
What movies are showing?
Our first movie will be National Lampoon’s Vacation and the Second Movie is The Dark Knight.
How many people can I bring?
As many as you can legally fit in your car!
How much is it to get in?
You can bring a donation of any size! Please check the wish list provided by the Cedar Bend Humane Society to get some ideas! You can view that list here!
Can I donate cash or check?
We will not accept donations made by check. While cash donations will be accepted, it is encouraged to bring an item from the wishlist.
If I just want to sit in the front, where can I park my car?
We will have general parking available in the opposite side of the parking lot from the movie screen.
What if my car battery dies?
We will have jumper cables available to use. We cannot promise availability of a car that will be able to jump your vehicle.
Is there anything else I should know?
To make the check in process easier, have your reservation confirmation email and your donation ready when you pull up to the booth. This will help us and you!
