Around six in the morning the other day, cops got a report of a Ford Explorer parked in the middle of the road in Little Rock, Iowa.
They found 38-year-old Benjamin Gray slumped over in his seat with his pants down around his thighs. And he was obviously drunk.
His eyes were bloodshot, and he was slurring his speech. So a cop put him in his patrol vehicle, and then went back to search his car.
They ended up finding a small amount of pot and a glass pipe in his center console. So he’s facing charges for drunk driving and drugs.
But then the cop went back to his patrol car. And it turned out Ben had found an unopened can of Mountain Dew in the cop’s cup holder and started drinking it.
So they tacked on an extra charge for fifth-degree theft! Harsh!
