Break out the Dragula!
Rob Zombie has indeed confirmed that he will be directing a ‘The Munsters’ movie! The movie will be streaming only and be featured on NBC’s Peacock service.
I always enjoyed the Munsters show, it’s just so ‘of its time’ that I feel would have a lot of trouble working today. But…if you a make a movie all about it? Then there ya go. With the horror fanatic that Rob Zombie is AND fan of the Munsters, Zombie is probably the most perfect director for the job, and according to his Instagram post, he is quite excited about it.
What’s interesting about this show though, is that it broadcast for 2 seasons! Most shows would just die off after that short period of time, but the Munsters? Cult classic status.
