How has it been 3 years already ya know?
3 years ago today, we lost the great Vinnie Paul of Pantera/DamagePlan/HellYeah.
I remember that night quite well. I was at my friends place JUST about to go to sleep as we had to awaken SUPER early in the morning to head to our annual trip to Cedar Point. I was just about to fall asleep and just scrolling through my phone, to where I saw a picture of Vinnie on the Pantera page…and even before I read the caption, I just knew.
I stayed up for about 30 more minutes doing the social media thing, texting friends, and just letting people know we lost the last Abbot brother.
A picture started to surface around of Vinnie and Dime in a cartoon sense walking through heavens gates and it gave me a sense of comfort knowing that the brothers were back together.
