Did not see this one coming.
If you listen to me long enough, you’ll know I am pretty tight with the guys from Pop Evil. I have been following those guys from my first days in radio all the way to this day! To me, Pop Evil was Leigh, Matt, Dave, Tony, and Dylan…but that was years ago! Bands progress, members change, it’s all part of it.
However, Leigh, Matt and Dave have always been there….however this weekend. bassist Matt Dirito announced in Instagram that he will be departing from the band after 14 years!
This was a pretty big shock as I did not see this one coming! From the Instagram posts, it sounds like it was due to personal reasons and he won’t be out of the spotlight for long…so I am curious to why he has departed, but I’ll respect his privacy.
Matt taught me the way of the McGangbang….which is a McDouble and McChicken sandwiched between the two patties…it’s pretty glorious.
