Ever have one of those video games you just pop in for a quick play and have some fun?
Road Rash 2 is that for me, and it’s 28 years old today! How crazy is that?
Now, it’s no Super Mario Bros, Zelda, Metal Gear, Final Fantasy, or whatever…this is a game where you jump on a motorcycle, steal a chain or billy club, beat the hell out of your opponents, whatever it takes to reach first place, and it’s a freaking riot to this day.
My longtime friend Jon and I, anytime we hangout? We break out the Sega, plug in this game into our old Sega Genesis and laugh. Even on my video game sleeve tattoo, is a little tribute to Road Rash 2 by my shoulder, commemorating longtime friendships, thanks to things like Road Rash 2.
So sure, get your PS5’s and Xbox Series X’s….I’m going rashin.’
