Sadly I didn’t, cause I think we forgot too! Oh well, but it has been a tradition for years. However, this cake is sure something different and special.
A piece of wedding cake from 1981 is up for auction, but this isn’t your ordinary wedding cake….this is a piece of wedding cake from the royal wedding of Princess Diana and Prince Charles.
If you win the auction, not only do you get the cake, but also a wedding program, ceremony details, and a breakfast menu. It was last sold in 2008, and is currently expected to sell for $700.
Only $700? I’d figure something like this would go for a bit more than that, but the hell do I know? It’s cake.
