This works INCREDIBLY well.
Years ago, The Offspring released their hit track ‘Gone Away.’ The lyrical content of the song not only allows for a great punk song, but also a really great ballad, which is what the Offspring has done here.
At first the band performed a slower version with the band Dead Sara (see below), then Five Finger Death Punch did their version, and I guess Dexter said, ‘You know, that actually sounds good…let’s record that.’
