Remember the 80’s? No?
You probably remember the 90’s though, and apparently so does everyone else!
According to Google Trends, the decade of the 90’s is officially more ‘trendy’ than the 80’s are. FOR YEARS 80’s style has always felt the most nostalgic, but now as the 90’s becomes older…it’s taking its place.
Google trends states that 90’s stuff represents 31% of all decade related searches, with the 80’s coming in at 29%. (Not a big margin, but enough to notice right?) Along with searches for 90’s Outfit like crop tops, sweater vests, platform shoes, and anything deemed as ‘preppy.’
Also 90’s Hip Hop songs are up by 400% this month alone.
There you go folks, the 90’s are the new 80’s, and I am here for it.
