One of the Toys Picked for The Toy Hall of Fame Was… Sand

The National Toy Hall of Fame announced the three toys it will be inducting this year.  SAND made it at #3… Sand??

I didn’t know sand was considered a toy?  Well if that’s the case, how about nominate the empty wrapping paper tubes.  My brothers and I used those as lifesabers.  So weird that sand was inducted…
