What a blast.
This past Saturday was one for the record books for sure. The 5th Annual 24 Hour Livestream went down and was an absolute mind blowing success, and when I say mind blowing? I really do mean it.
We started with a goal of $5000, which was I felt a BIG goal…I have NEVER EVER in the history of 24 Hour Livestream ever reached that amount of money…but this year was different. We SMASHED…OBLITERATED….DECIMATED that $5000 goal before Noon…we had barely begun, and we cracked $5000, I was floored…and we still had a whole day ahead of us!
Naturally we increased the goal to $7500, and in the wee hours of the morning before we were going to call it a day? People woke up, checked on us, and brought us to our stretch goal. It was amazing….hell we even made it past that.
We ate pickles, bananas, over 20 dreadfully sour candies, and played games to our hearts content. We may have been the dorks playing video games, but you all made the difference.
Over $7500 will go to the Stead Family Children’s Hospital, and go to kids who need it…to make them smile another day and forget about whatever they may be dealing with that keeps them in the hospital. Kids DESERVE to have a happy childhood, and to those who supported…take pride in the fact that your support could save a life.
