The Age When the Pace of Life Slows Down Is… 43

By Tim Martin Dec 2, 2021 | 4:16 AM

Take this with a grain of salt since a survey was done to come to this conclusion…

What they found out was the average person expects the pace of life to slow down at the age of 43.  They’re basing this on if you got married and had kids at a young age…

Here’s my issue with this…  I am 43-years-old, and I am busier than I’ve ever been career-wise.  Now with that being said, I don’t have kids, and never wanted them.  BUT, just recently I’ve decided that I’m actually open to having them if I were to fall in love and we both wanted kids.  If it doesn’t happen, I’m okay with that too.  It’s not like I’m out there searching for someone to have kids with.  I would want it to happen naturally.  I WOULD like to fall in love before I die, though.  AGAIN, I’m not searching for love.  I’ll wait patiently for love to find ME.

So, basically… this survey is FALSE for me.  My life has the possibility of becoming busier than it’s ever been.  The 8 years I wasted on drinking during my active alcoholism prevented me from living a full life early on.  I might be late to the game, but I’m hopeful that wonderful things will still come my way.

How about you?  Do you think your life will, or has slowed down at age 43?
