The straw that broke the camels back.
Early last year, my beloved Family Video announced that they would be closing down their brick and mortar stores. It was a sad moment, I wrote a whole thing about it and I still haven’t really recovered from it. But…I still had to possibility of buying from Fam Vid on their website….not preferred, but at least I was still supporting.
Until today…as the defunct video rental chain will soon close it’s online store by the end of the month.
But Ned, just stream or buy from Amazon….yea I know….I’m aware, but I enjoyed still buying from them. I actually did buy quite a few movies this past year from familyvideo.com…but now, my options to buy are running short.
