I’m not sure how someone could let this happen.
As a tattoo guy, normally my artist draws it out, transfers it to paper which then stencils it on to me, and go from there! Mind you, there are PLENTY of times where an artist will free hand it too….some of my favorite stuff if the free handed things.
But a name, especially this one, is so hard to f&*^ up….but they did.
A woman wanted to get her dad’s name John tattooed on her, pretty normal stuff….but the artist ended up writing ‘Jhon.’
Whoops.
However weirdly enough…it was a mistake that ended up with a different meaning. As when she was a kid, her father ended up misspelling his name on a magazine subscription and every month it would be addressed to ‘Jhon.’
