I can relate to this.
I hate clutter, dirt, anything that is unclean. Mind you I will let some things go, but when I step on something on my hardwood floor with a bare foot? I haaaaaaaate it….I also hate a sink full of dishes! THE WORST!
I’m not a clean freak…mostly.
But apparently us humans spend 237 hours a year cleaning our fine homes. I likely make up 230 of those.
As someone with 2 cats, a kid, and a long haired wife…PLUS me? That house likes to stay dusty and cluttered. Every night though before we hit the bed, we clean up. Sometimes though, those mindless chores? Can be relaxing…
- Vacuuming
- Laundry
- Doing Dishes
- Tidying up
- Cleaning the bathroom/toilet
- Ironing
- Mopping
- Dusting
- Cleaning windows
I may complain about dishes, but there is just something about getting them done that feels good. Plus I get to listen to Game Grumps…so that is worth it.
