You wanna lose weight, so you head to gym, pump that iron, no pain no gain! AUGHHHHHHHH! Right?

According to a new trend, put down the weights and relax…as a report stated that gyms are offering more mellow workout classes as the pandemic eases.

Gyms are seeing demands for ‘gentle’ workouts, like guided meditation and easy yoga. Some gyms even adding ‘recovery’ rooms with loungers and message beds. But….why? Apparently the pandemic shifted out priorities from LOOKING good to just FEELING good.

You know, I get that….when I was going hard in DDP Yoga…it was probably the best I had felt in a VERY long time. No crazy weights, leg day, etc etc etc….I just did my yoga, felt great that did it that it kept me coming back.

No disrespect to the big gym, but in my mid-30’s…I could really care less about big muscle mass.
