Go to college, a university, get a real job…that’s what they said to me.
Congrats! High School is done! Time to move on with your life with that fancy ass diploma and get yourself a house, a family, and a sweet 9 to 5! Or….not?
According to a recent poll, 34% of graduates (as in High School and College) have NO IDEA what they are gonna do after they graduate. As in career options, higher education…nothing…and 41% say they do not have a job lined up yet.
Many of my college friends didn’t go into their field of study, so like….what was the point ya know? However I am sure there a thousands of people that have done that. Truthfully, I didn’t need college for my radio career, but it did give me a leg up….a really EXPENSIVE leg up.
Maybe instead of teaching the Pythagorean theorem or whatever the hell that was? Maybe there should be a class teaching some life skills.
