The Aero 360 ride at Kennywood in Pennsylvania malfunctioned and left people stranded upside-down for a short time.

Kennywood Maintenance staff responded, quickly brought the ride back to its designated rest position and safely evacuated the riders.Three riders visited the first aid center as a precaution before returning to the park.
The ride will remain closed while a review is completed.

Two airline pilots fell asleep on a flight from New York City to Rome while their plane was still in the air with as many as 250 passengers on board.
An investigation said that both pilots of an ITA Airways flight that departed from John F. Kennedy International Airport on April 30 were allegedly sleeping in the cockpit as their Airbus 330 flew 38,000 feet over France.
While one pilot slept during his designated sleeping break, the airplane’s captain fell asleep too. Air traffic controllers told investigators they lost contact with the plane for about 10 minutes.  They prepared fighter jets to intercept the plane, but the pilots eventually responded.
The plane managed to land safely in Rome, and ITA Airways has since fired the captain.

DAILY DUMBASS – The son of Yankees legend Don Mattingly was busted for drunk driving in Indiana. Jordon William Mattingly was arrested in Evansville, where cops said he crashed his car into a median while inebriated before driving to a local dealership and trying to sell it.
Mattingly was more than 3.5 times over the legal limit and blew a .291 when officers conducted a breathalyzer test.

Mattingly told cops he was at the dealership to sell his ride and pick up a new one. He also said he had only “one drink.” He later admitted having “a lot” to drink before getting behind the wheel, but insisted he didn’t hit anything on his way to sell his car.

Cops said they later found cans of Four Loko and White Claw inside the vehicle. He is facing two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and public drunkenness.  MORE DETAILS
