Wednesday’s Morning Show Wrap-Up

By Brian Marshall Jun 15, 2022 | 11:57 AM

Here’s what you may have missed on the ROCK 108 Morning Show:

YOU THINK YOU HAVE IT BAD? – A man in Northern California who mistakenly set the price of gas at the station he managed to 69 cents has been fired.
While setting the prices for gasoline that day, the man inadvertently messed up the decimal point for the premium gas.  What was supposed to be a $6.99 gallon turned out to be $0.69. In all, his error cost the gas station $16,000 — and his job.
The man said, “I just took responsibility for it and I said ‘yeah it’s my fault, and I’m to blame.” It is unclear if he has to pay the company back for his mistake.

A bunch of Coors Light and Keystone Light from a plant in Ohio is being pulled from shelves, because people are getting cans of SLIME instead.  Or it’s at least something that looks way more syrupy than beer.  A few videos are making the rounds on TikTok.  MillerCoors claims there’s no health risk though.

BRIAN’S BRAIN BUSTER – The Guinness record for *this* is 13 seconds. What is it?
P1 Nation Guesses:
Several P1’s on Facebook guessed about “A male’s intimate performance.”
Becca on Facebook – “Drinking a gallon of milk.”
ACTUAL ANSWER –  The shortest music concert. (It was a show The Who started in 2007. Singer Roger Daltrey realized very quick that, due to illness, he couldn’t sing.)

SPORTS – A YouTube prankster (Dawson Gurley) has been given a lifetime ban from Golden State Warriors home games after he got onto the court and shoot around for 10 minutes before Game 5 of the NBA Finals. Gurley passes some resemblance to Warriors’ center, Klay Thompson
Gurley states that he walked past “5 layers of security guards, who willingly let him through and did not ask for I.D.”
Gurley also states that he never claimed to be Klay Thompson to security.  MORE DETAILS
