Throwback Thursday’s Morning Show Wrap-Up

By Brian Marshall Jun 16, 2022 | 11:50 AM

Here’s what you may have missed on the ROCK 108 Morning Show:

A Runnells, Iowa man died at the age of 59. The family of Stephen Owens tried to capture his playfulness on his headstone.

The headstone reads,

“Forever in our hearts.

Until we meet again.

Cherished memories.

Known as.

Our son, brother.

Father, Papa, Uncle.

Friend & cousin.”

You might not notice anything out of the ordinary on the headstone, but when reading downward, you will be in on the joke.
When managers at the cemetery saw a drawing of the design, they took issue with it. But the company that made the headstone told the cemetery that unless a court injunction was issued to prevent them from putting it in, they would go forward with the installation.
Owens’ daughter “It’s not anybody’s business. If you don’t like it, walk away.” HERE’S THE HEADSTONE

DAILY DUMBASS – A commercial bus driver blacked out on I-95 in Connecticut in March. The driver told officers that he had been snacking on gummies while driving.

The driver was transporting 38 people from the Mohegan Sun Casino and pulled over on the side of the highway and passed out.  MORE DETAILS
