Make it a Blockbuster night.
Back in the 90’s and before streaming, existed the video rental store where every Friday night, you’d head to the store, rent movies and games for a fee and that was your entire weekend! Blockbuster of course, likely being the most popular one. You know me, I have talked PLENTY about video rental stores in my life at Rock 108.
Since 2014, the official Blockbuster Facebook page has laid dormant…a page where people shared memories on a post advertising their closing specials….and then a couple days ago out of nowhere, the page made a post stating ‘We’re back from the grave…’
WHAT could this mean!?!? Is Blockbuster coming back?!?! Well probably not, as the comments in each of the post clearly state that they won’t be doing much outside of posting memes and stuff…which that is fine with me. I mean, OF COURSE I would LOOOOVE to see Blockbuster again, but it doesn’t make much sense in a digital world.
I hope they continue posting, it’s pretty fun to watch.
