SPORTS – Major League Baseball returns to The Field Of Dreams in Dyersville tonight. The Chicago Cubs will face the Cincinnati Reds. However, it may be 2024 before MLB is at The Field again.
Baseball Hall Of Famer Frank Thomas, part of the ownership group, said it could be 2024 before the MLB is back. Thomas is referring to plans to put in youth baseball and softball complexes. Construction is slated to begin this year. Thomas says MLB does not want to deal with a having a game while that is happening.
