DAILY DUMBASS – A Florida man was arrested after he slapped a police officer’s horse on the behind. Another officer saw the man walk behind his partner, who was riding a police horse. It was at that point, he opened his hand and smacked the horse’s backside.
Officers say that the man was surprised after they told him he was under arrest. The man was charged with battery on a police horse.  MORE DETAILS

IT’S NEWS TO ME –  The IRS is reminding Americans that they will have to report their $600 transactions on Venmo and PayPal beginning in January.
The threshold for 1099-K will be lowered from $20,000 to $600. Failure to report such payments could trigger an audit since the IRS receives the 1099-K from those services.  MORE DETAILS
