Sometimes, going that extra mile is just toooo much.
I recycle, I reuse, I do things that in turn save some money…but sometimes there are those things that you do to save a few pennies and say? F*** this man….like buying store brand right? My example…frozen waffles….Eggo is the best, Aldi is reasonable, Wal-Mart is cardboard…trust me on this one. You may GET more frozen waffles from Wal-Mart for a good price, but they’re pretty terrible.
What other things do you do to save a couple bucks? Probably these top 10 things…and sometimes man? Just buy Tide…According to a Reddit thread, these are the Top 10 things that are not worth your time.
- Making your laundry detergent….no…..
- Buying in bulk (I mean, good for large families…and storing stuff maybe)
- Couponing (Unless it’s something you buy all the time, not worth)
- Lowering the thermostat (I do…I mean, no one is home)
- Holding on to unnecessary stuff….use it or trash it.
- Capturing water from the sink or shower for other things….what?!
- Cheap toilet paper and paper towels….did this one, never again
- DIY projects….haircuts, plumbing….nah I disagree with this one a bit
- Reusing Ziploc bags….why not? I do.
- Flying Spirit Airlines…I have heard things.
