Hamburger time is no more.
While we were busy announcing the tour with In This Moment and Motionless in White this morning…..another tour (that is not hitting Iowa btw) slipped under our radar and I will be the first to admit….this tour rules.
The BabyKlok tour featuring Babymetal and effin’ Dethklok hits the road this summer! I….cannot….freaking….wait.
I am a BIG Dethklok/Metalocalypse fan…and by all I means I do enjoy Babymetal for sure, so both of them on one bill together is pretty damn epic! For those that don’t know, Dethklok is the death metal band that was featured in the Adult Swim show ‘Metalocalype.’ If you watched Adult Swim during that time, you probably watched the antics of the 5 members of Dethklok being idiots….but beneath is all was an incredibly solid band fronted by Brendon Small….and well, that band does actually tour! However for the past 10 years, Adult Swim cancelled the show and the legal rights for the band to tour….so Dethklok was dead.
Until now….
Closest this show is coming to Minneapolis, St. Louis, and Omaha…of course all on regular weekdays which is annoying.
Hopefully the entire crowd will survive the power that is Dethklok.
