This was easily one of my biggest ‘gets’ this past weekend at Upheaval Festival.
It was one of those, send a text and see what happens type of moments which 95% of the time really never work, but if you don’t take the risk? You’ll never know! So I was able to get Lacey Sturm’s TM info, sent the text, and waited to see if it was possible….and? 30 minutes later….I got the text back that I was gonna get 10 minutes with Lacey for an interview!
I always look for bands that I have never talked with before, so this one was really special for me to conduct considering the history that Lacey and Flyleaf has had, plus my wife is a pretty big fan too.
I loved how ‘conversational’ she was, it was just 2 adults chatting about family and music…so enjoy!
