I was today years old when I found this out.
I have always been a Bruce Campbell fan, and have even chatted with him over the phone…so how did I not know of this movie?
Here in Iowa, we all love the fact that 1996’s Twister was filmed here for a few scenes. But did you know in 1996, a direct to TV movie named ‘Tornado’ was released on FOX and starred Bruce Campbell and Ernie Hudson and it’s basically the same movie?
Neither did I, but here we are.
Funny enough, Tornado was released on May 6th while Twister was released just the following week in theaters! But, how could one become so popular and the other forgotten so quickly?
Oh….Tornado was developed by Hallmark Studio….got it….btw, the entire movie is on YouTube.
